Sure, there’s hordes of evil to be stopped, people in peril, outer space battles to fight. But in-between, there’s a full-service cafeteria and lots of other superheroes to talk to.

Voodoo #3- Easily one of my favorites from the new 52. This issue was excellent. Guess starred Green Lantern Kyle Rayner, my favorite Green Lantern. The art is top-notch, and the writing is superb. Sadly, this series isn’t going to do well. Which means it’s very likely to get canceled.
UNFFFF I NEEDED THIS ON MY DASH. I’m not even a tentacles!kinda fan, but I’m starting to believe Kyle Rayner is, given how much he is canonically assaulted by tentacles.
But. Whatever. VOODOO. GODDAMMIT YOU ARE HOT. GIT ‘IM, GIRL.
*stares at this until forever*
(also, doesn’t the pose remind you of a classical Greek statue? I don’t think it’s Apollo and Daphne, but maybe reminiscent? Maybe? Thoughts?)
OMG, it IS a reversal! What’s weird is that after I was kinda like “ehhh I’m sick of HP”, one of the first DC trades I bought was Bruce Wayne: Murderer (and then the BW: Fugitive ones). I can see why that event would be frustrating when buying it monthly, but reading it in trades I enjoyed it overall, despite it’s problems. (But then I think I’m more interested in his supporting cast, so that arc was kinda like “Batman’s Family And Sidekicks Are Amazing, Bruce Learns To Be Nicer And Grateful But Will Probably Forget That Lesson In Two Months”.)
But yeah, basically the majority of what I liked had been disappearing from the DCU (Oracle, Cass Cain, Roy and Lian Harper, Jaime Reyes, Booster Gold and his undying love for dead Ted Kord, etc) and the new 52 was just like, “yeah, it’s ALL gone now”. Grrrr.
Now I am suddenly interested in Post-Hogwarts and the Trio and Weasleys being old farts with kids everywhere! (Speaking of which I *LOVE* the Fred/Angelina +kids art you did.)
That’s the thing! I was REALLY looking forward to reading the BW: Murderer Fugitive etc crossovers because it was all about the familehhhh and Bat-fam is really the only reason I loved the Batman books, ahaha. But…jeez, now I’m racking my brains trying to figure out why I stopped reading DCU. I think it was just the Gryffindor quidditch team seducing me with their fighting and cavorting and being hot in general, ahahahah.
Hilariously, I have all the Bruce Wayne: Whatever trade paperbacks, but never actually read them. Maybe now is a good time to revisit.
and then maybe one year I’ll actually finally properly read Harry Potter: book 7 which I only skimmed through and then kinda found out the ending via fandom, LOL WHOOPS)
AHAHA post-Hogwarts is pretty neat, innit? I have to say, I’m developing a fondness for exploring that as well. Seems rife with possibilities.
And thank you! I can’t believe I drew that so long ago, it seems like it was just a couple months ago, so weird. :D

why did I draw this? ~wibble~

*ahem*. It’s ‘friendly’.
This is a remix of two GA/GL arts I’ve done. The first in 2001, the second in 2004(?), maybe. Anyway, figured it was time to revisit these two, because even after all these years, I still love ‘em so.

LOL I love it when my art randomly pops up on tumblr. And oldie but a goodie. XD

Drawble Price for iocassandra! Who asked for:
could you make a fluffy Batman piece with Jason Todd and Bruce?
I took some artistic license haahah. I hope it still qualifies as fluffy. XD I call this art ‘Alfred’s Day Off’.

C’mon down to Lantern Park!
(yes I made Kyle and Hal lefties. ARTISTIC LICENSE, K)
[image: art by Glockgal. The Arrows in an alternate universe RPG I’m in. Roy Harper, Jade Nguyen, Lian Harper and Ollie Queen pose in cartoony 50’s styled costuming and sensibilities.]
…okay I just wanted a chance to draw them looking all 50’s. I blame Mad Men.
If I was a superhero in my 20’s, I’da so be Kyle Rayner. Always feeling!! and wondering?!? and of course drawing fanarts lol.
[image: fanart by Glockgal. The Flash (Wally West) blurs while running, but is stopped short by his wife and the love of his life, Linda Park-West. He leans in for a kiss.]
Goodbye Wally and Linda.
[images: art by Glockgal. Arrowette and Arsenal stand side by side, looking snarky. One image is a new remix of other, older fanart.]
Remix! I’ve learned better anatomy and digital illustrating. I’ve lost abilities for detailing and block-inking. I can’t decide if that’s a good trade-off, heh.
Cissie! I miss you, girl.
[image: fanart by Glockgal. Roy Harper, Oliver Queen and Dinah Lance lounging in a hip living room and having drinks. Everyone is having a good time.]

Because if there is ONE THING I like about summer, it’s the abundance of delicious, heavenly fruits and berries. YUMMM.
