The Painted Desert was an art gallery page on the Roy Harper fan website Roytoys.org, of which I have submitted two interviews from two different comic creators. I lost track of the old gallery a while ago but only just managed to find it again. I’m posting the Roy Harper pieces done by Glockgal of Tumblr.

The fifth piece of Roy as a pirate was apparently for a story the website’s owner was working on.

I vote for ‘about to’. And then Grace Choi will get the popcorn for viewing pleasure. :D

Finally did a remix of this old art from 2005! It’s…kinda improved? Hrm. I couldn’t bear to draw that fugly 90’s poucherific costume on Roy again, so I just used his Red Arrow costume.  HURR.

…okay I just wanted a chance to draw them looking all 50’s. I blame Mad Men.

Remix! I’ve learned better anatomy and digital illustrating. I’ve lost abilities for detailing and block-inking.  I can’t decide if that’s a good trade-off, heh.
